For a while I felt their rants and raves, although misguided based on the actual information that has come out, were nothing more than supporting their deceased father who could not speak on his own accord.
But its gotten a little old now especially with the following statement which I couldn't believe from this morning:
"The Paterno family issued a statement only hours later saying the statue's removal "does not serve the victims of Jerry Sandusky's horrible crimes or help heal the Penn State community."
So here are my questions to them: How the hell do you know that the removal of the statue doesn't serve the victims of Sandusky's crimes? Because it doesn't serve your interests? Have you actually taken a poll of the victims to find out how they would vote on the matter?
Still can't believe Paterno's family attempted to speak on behalf of the victims as if they know what would serve their interests. If I'm a family friend of the Paternos, I'm telling them right about now (if not, earlier) to keep quiet. We know how you feel already. . . but now you're coming off as many others within the Penn State community who feel deep down that their university really didn't do anything wrong. Its all on Sandusky. What a freakin joke!
