Baseball - The HOF needs to come to terms and accept the fact that they had (or possibly still have) a steroid era. It is what it is and wasn't even technically "against the rules" at the time. Not to mention that baseball survived to a certain extent because of McGwire, Sosa and Bonds. Am I a fan of Barry Bonds - No...Do I think he should be in the HOF - Yes.
Cycling - I appreciate that they do everthing they can to try to eliminate doping. That being said, there needs to be a statute of limitations on striping people of their titles. Just about every serious competitor to Armstrong was caught at the time - Ulrich, Baso, Contador, etc. Landis deserved to be striped. Armstrong, not so much. Did they go back and give the yellow jerseys to the 2nd place guy? I know they did in the Landis case and in the Contador case. You just can't do that with Armstrong because of the above - Most of them have already been caught.
As far as Armstrong goes - I thought he was clean at the time because of what he went through with cancer. Why would you dump a bunch of stuff in your body, that has killed some, after that. Now I'm just, like my Dad used to say "disappointed."
