But in the real world, things are different, or are reasonably expected to be different. The NFL, for example, only signs 32 1st round draft choices per year, but signs perhaps 300 undrafted free agents after the draft. Nonetheless, I'd expect a lot more first round draft choices to be on the All-NFL team than undrafted free agents despite the fact that there are a significant number of "misses" in evaluationg first round talent.
